The sheet isn't perfect, the google sheets API is slooooow, but I've done what I can to make it faster. It's my understanding that the team behind this plans to make the randomizer universal, and as such I plan to make a new sheet for each game added to the randomizer. I believe these warps are un-randomized as of version 1.0.1 Some warps aren't tracked, including: Shoal Cave, Lilycove Museum, Sky Pillar cave entrance, Sealed Chamber, Slateport Submarine, Aqua/Terra Caves. Marks entrances as blocked by certain obstacles, or as a dead-end.Ī grid that shows your overall progress with the randomizer, color-coded to show what each entrance is blocked by or if it's a dead-end.Īnnotated images to give a better understanding of what each hub is. You can see the spreadsheet here (note: you'll need to save a copy for it to work): They are 59 hubs in Pokemon Emerald, which I've put under 30 categories, including a total of 330 tracked locations. Of course tracking every warp exhaustively would take a lot of time, so instead we only track the areas where you have a choice of exits. This is useful for when you need to return to a certain area later, or for later in the game when you can't remember which doors you've tried. The purpose of the spreadsheet is to track which warp points lead where. I'm not affiliated with this team in any way, I just like making spreadsheets. If you haven't seen it, Pokemon Emerald Warp Randomizer is a project by PointCrow, XLuma, Turtleisaac, and AtSign that randomizes where all the warp points leads to. If it's not appropriate to this sub I'll post it to r/PokemonROMhacks instead. The caves are near Route 105, Route 111, and Route 120, and require some insane actions to be taken in order to get the Titans to spawn.I'm making this post mostly so I have a place to dump updates to my spreadsheet. At the back of the cave is another inscription that if you read with the correct 'mons in the right order will trigger an earthquake that reveals three hidden caves around Hoenn, which are where the Titans can be found. Now is the part where Wailord must be first in your party while Relicanth is last. The cave will have another message instructing you to dig, which will open the door. The inscription instructs you to go back up, and doing so brings you to a cave. In the middle of the currents is a calm spot where you can dive which leads to a cavern. Then, head to Pacifidlog Town and head west through the fast currents, being sure to stay on the southern line of rocks. Trying to get the three legendary Titans, Regirock, Regice, and Registeel, was an even bigger pain than trying to find Kyogre and Groudon.įirst, you need a ‘mon with Surf, Dive, and Dig, and then you need Wailord and Relicanth in your party. 20 The Ruins Of Alph - Behind Every Door Is A StoryĮmerald was a bastard when it came to hiding Pokémon. Here are a few locations you might have missed in your earlier playthroughs. Pokémon is a series notorious for cleverly hiding it’s juiciest secrets from trainers, and it’s totally possible to play a game several times and never find everything there is to find. Of course, even the most devoted explorer can still miss a few things. That’s why I always took 100 wherever I went. Or maybe you’d find a legendary Pokémon, ripe for the taking, and you’d pray to whatever gods you held dear you had enough ultra balls to bag the sucker. Maybe you’d find a brand new TM to teach your Pokémon a new move, or maybe you’d find a fellow trainer eager to do battle. Every game was open world, albeit only providing you with a grid to explore up until very recently, but you wanted to explore not because that was what you’re supposed to do but because you never knew what you’d find or who you’d meet. It felt more like a compulsion, like that was simply what you did in those games so you did it unthinkingly. But they all lacked a certain magic that’s hard to describe. Skyrim, Fallout, No Man’s Sky - they were all great for exploration, for getting down in the dirt and teasing out every last bit of information I could from the land. I’ve played a lot of open world exploration games.
